Need help with your online business? Try Portal Feeder

I know I haven't posted anything here in a while.

Truth is, I've been really busy building my online business.

Frankly, I got to the point where I was frustrated trying to go at it alone.

I decided to get some help and get serious.

Now, I have a Mentor who helps me. Everyday, I get new ideas, money-making strategies and my questions answered by a community of hotshot Internet Marketers.

I've got a blueprint and a plan. I am sticking to it and seeing great results!

Also, I stopped buying every new $97 software that I see promoted each week.

Instead, I am using a handful of proprietary tools, resources and software. Everything is integrated so it's much easier to get my sites and blogs built.

Not to mention, getting backlinks and traffic to my websites is not a problem anymore.

It's actually pretty easy.

If you are curious about this "community" of hotshot Internet Marketers and the proprietary tools that I am referring to, you can get more details here:

Portal Feeder Priority Announcement List

I can't recommend this enough. It has really helped me to grow my online business (and income) and finally get me in the game of making good money online.

Go check it out because members are only accepted a few times per year. Put yourself on the announcement list and you'll be among the first to be notified when spots are open again.

Doors to Portal Feeder Opening Thursday ….

Okay — are you ready???

If you want to see inside Portal Feeder you will have a small window of opportunity as Jason Potash, Jason Katzenback and Marc Quarles are throwing open the doors for a limited number of new members.

Portalfeeder is a very unique membership program.  Not only do they give you the tools to build a business, they support you all the way.  The 3 men at the helm of this operation do not just sit in a high and mighty position looking down at their noses at the members; they are involved.  I get emails all the time with links to free gifts — yes, free gifts.  A lot of membership sites sucker you in and then keep selling you just one more thing you simply can't live without.  The folks who run portalfeeder do it differently.  They GIVE you products.  In the past month members have received a plethora of free software products — not junk throw-away products, but real products you can use:  PPC Kahuna, ROI Tracker, pf planner, adwords campaign builder, keyword list cleaner … and on and on.  One tool we received just today sells for $400!  Now, that's a real gift!

Well, tomorrow is your chance to join Portal Feeder.  If you miss it this go-round you'll probably get another chance in about six months — but, why wait?  They do offer a money back guarantee so you can check it out.  It might not be right for you.  But you'll never know if you don't join.

It was right for me.  I have joined a multitude of memberships.  Portal Feeder is the best one I've ever joined.  And, that's not just hype.  It's a fact.   If you do join us I hope you'll look me up on the forum and let me know you're there.  I'll help you out in every way I can — hold your hand, answer your questions, give you advice.  Not only will I help you but the whole PF team will be there cheering you on and helping you every step of the way.

I sincerely hope you will join us …. Here's the link:  Portal Feeder.

See you inside!

Portal Feeder Weaknesses Exposed

Someone told me recently I need to be more objective about Portal Feeder; that it's best to point out the weaknesses of something rather than just talking about its good features all the time.muscle_power_1.jpg

Now, that has me thinking …. what are Portal Feeder's weaknesses?

I have been using the system since March of this year and, while I've gotten frustrated a time or two, I can't really blame it on the portalfeeder system.  For example, for almost 10 years I've been using Dreamweaver to build websites.  I have gotten pretty darned good at turning out sites fast and, if I may brag a little, they're pretty good looking sites.  So, when I joined Portal Feeder I was a mite disconcerted to find they didn't use web designing software!  Suddenly, i find myself learning a new system that is totally foreign to me.  Portal Feeder uses "tokens" — I'd never heard of a token (except when I was in the sixth grade.  I had to use bus tokens to ride to school).  Not the same!

Well, I finally learned what tokens do now am able to use them with (almost) the ease I work with DW.  So, is that a Portal Feeder weakness?  I don't think so.  It was different for me but I learned and now it's better for me.

Another frustration I had was learning how to "drip content."  It wasn't hard.  It was, again, just different.  I was accustomed to formatting my articles, creating a website page with a dreamweaver template, adding the link to my index page and uploading  the page or pages to the server.  If I had 10 pages — I just upload all ten.  If I have one, I uploaded one page.  Suddenly I have to learn to create a directory full of text files and (with tokens) tell the server to feed them to my site in small drips.  The articles are dripped as often as I want them to appear on the site.  Using the Portal Feeder dripping method makes it look like I am actively updating my sites, when in fact, I only have to do it a few times a year now.  Is that a portal feeder weakness?  Nah. It's a benefit that I don't want to live without.

See?  I am not very good at being objective.  But, I'll keep trying.

I suppose I must confess that I have one really bad hangup about the Portal Feeder forum that keeps me awake at night.  You see, I'm addicted.  That darned forum, with all the posts from like-minded people robs me of more time than I care to admit.  I love reading the posts, the success stories, the how-to's — so much that I simply get lost and hours will pass before I realize it.  Then, I come to my senses and swear I'm going to stay away.  It works.  I have learned to go for a couple of days without getting on there.  Then, I backslide and find myself gobbling up the interesting tidbits again.  Hmmmm….. is that a weakness of Portal Feeder?  It really must be.  I am tired of being the weak point in this post!

C'mon, help me out, here!  Do I really have to be objective about Portal Feeder when it has made such a difference in my life????  Tell you what — I'll go make a post on the forum to see if anyone else knows of weaknesses in the PF system and post the results here ….

In the meantime, get on over to the portalfeeder site and get on the announcement list.  They're giving away a free report on how to do research with eBay.  It's a great tool and it's free for signing up.

Later …..

Is Portal Feeder Unbelievable?

what.jpg

I've made it a habit, of late, to read a lot of my blog posts aloud to my husband, the world's biggest skeptic (I love you, honey).  Sometimes he smiles and says, "you're a good writer; that's great."  And sometimes he says, "Hmmmmm … that sounds like a lot of bull s—."  When I read him a recent post I (almost) made to this blog (about Portal Feeder), he pragmatically gave me a thumbs-down, his way of saying that the post was a truckload of BS.

Now, that hurt!

"But, honey, it is all true!"  I whined in my most you-hurt-my-feelings voice.

"Well,  if it's true, it is unbelievable." He responded ignoring my manipulation (sometimes whining works!).  "And, if it's unbelievable people won't believe it even if it is true."

He is right.  We can only swallow truth if we can believe it.

So, what to do?  I can sing the praises of Portal Feeder all day long but, if you don't believe me I am just blowing hot air.  I love being a member of Portal Feeder.  It is an elite group focused on one thing:  enabling each member to build a successuful online business.  Not only are we coached and tutored, we are even invited to participte in huge content portals where we earn revenues individually and collectively.  We have at our fingertips all the tools necessary to create, update and promote the sites we build.  The potential for being a success is tremendous.

But, the bottom line is that, even though Portal Feeder offers us the moon (as far as Internet Marketing goes), it is not for everyone. Fact is, the only real way for you to see if it is something of benefit for you is to go inside and look around.  You will soon get a chance to do just that.  That's really the only way I know to convince you - by asking you to sign up on the announcement list and check it out for yourself on December 4th.  Here's the Portal Feeder Announcement link.

(Okay — I know you're dying to know what my husband said about this post.  I quote, "That is good.  You are speaking from the heart and I believe it."  Ahhhh!  Peace reigns in my happy home once again.  The dog will be lonely, but …..)

Failing at Internet Marketing? Here's Help.

failing.jpgLet's face it. The Internet Marketing game is hard work and not for the faint at heart. Perhaps you know what I mean. You've tried internet marketing and found it simply is not working for you. You're thinking about quitting; giving it up. Wait! Let's first attempt to remedy the problem by discovering why it is not working before you give it up entirely. Don't forget, the Internet is that it is a tremendous marketplace and a offers you an opportunity to tap into a large marketing segment. Sure, you can survive without it. But, is that what you want — just to survive? If you truly want to make your business the best in your niche, don't turn your back on internet marketing. With a little effort you will find ways to make it work for you.

If your efforts at internet marketing are not achieving the desired result, there are a number of considerations. Let's take a look at them to see if you've been making common mistakes.

1. Going About it the Wrong Way. Yes, there is a right and wrong way to go about internet marketing. You should start by having a professional looking website; send out frequent e-mail advertisements and newsletters to stay connected to customers. You also want to do some research to find different places on the Internet that would be good to link to. You simply must let people know what "street" you live on — i.e. - your URL, and what you're doing there. These are simple steps but they are vital in making sure that your business gets off of the ground.

2. Focusing on the Wrong Age Group. Yes, it is good to get the word out to everyone, but is there a certain market that you are trying to reach? If that is the case, you will want to go to the places where will find a high assemblage of your target market. For example, if you are looking to market products to the tween and teen groups, you will want to look at the networking websites such as Myspace. While it may not be in your best interest to participate on these sites if your niche market is the middle aged crowd, you need to sign up for such social sites if you are looking for tweens.

3. Failure to Network. You should spend a portion of your time online finding out about any internet marketing tools and skills that you may have overlooked and networking with people with mutal interests. There are plenty of community websites and sites where you can advertise for a small fee. Expect to pay a little to get your product noticed, especially when you are first starting out. This is to be expected in any form of advertising. A business venture is an investment. The Internet is a huge, freely accessible marketplace but you still need to budget for tapping into that market. You simply can't cut corners financially when starting any kind of marketing venture.

4. Trying to do it all yourself. Okay, let's face it. sometimes you just can't do it. Maybe you've tried writing and failed. Outsource it. Maybe you've attempted web design and your site looks like something a kid would create. Outsource it. If all else fails in your hunt to successfully market your product online, get a professional service to help you. If you are not Internet savvy, you will need to find alternative ways to promote your business online. Outsourcing to someone who knows what they're doing online is better than giving up or just playing around and not using the Internet to its full potential. Search for low cost internet marketing services and start making the Internet work for you. I've had success advertising in Getafreelancer.com, elance.com and on Craig's list. It may take a while but the Internet is worth the wait. Spend a little money on services and see where the Internet can take your business.

5. The Wrong Tools. Sometimes you will find your problem by looking into Internet tool box. How do you go about promoting your business on the Internet? A website simply is of no use unless you promote it. There are so many methods one can use including article writing and posting to article sites, blogging, email, directory submissions and paid advertising. But if you don't have the right tools to do these things you will be spinning your wheels and will get frustrated.

So, bottom line is you need to change your direction by changing the negatives into positives. 1). Start doing it right by using the tips above. 2). Get your focus right — find your niche market and target it. 3). Network with authority sites and stay connected to your visitors. 4). Don't try to do it all — Outsource! 5). Use the Right Tools to get the job done.

That's where a membership site like Portal Feeder comes in handy. One of the best ways I've found to get the word out about my websites is through using the tools found inside my Portal Feeder membership package — 500+ blogs, one-way link postings, article submissions — all done from within Portal Feeder. Before you give up on your own Internet Marketing you owe it to yourself to check it out. The membership is limited but in early December you'll have the chance to get inside. Do yourself a favor and get on their waiting list.

Grab Your Portal Feeder Spot

business_millionaire_845013T.jpgAs you can see from the topics, this blog is currently about the awesome tool we call Portal Feeder. Now, for some that represents a big question mark. Some do not have a clue what a "portal" is or why it would need a "feeder". (No, you're not stupid if you are one of the people who are clueless about Portal Feeder.) I was just as clueless a few months ago. And, I must admit, after I joined I had a few hairy (short-lived) moments of wondering just what the heck I had joined! But, after being a PF member for almost 7 months, now, I will tell you honestly it is the best decision I ever made.

So, what is PortalFeeder 2.0?

Is it a training system? Well, yes and no. It is so much more than a training system, although the training is the creme-de-la-creme of Internet Marketing. You start in "boot camp" and work through all the membership features, systematically building your own business while learning how it works. No stone remains unturned as you are learning how to utilize the Portal Feeder system and grow your own business. Additionally each member is assigned a Mentor to help us learn and grow. It is truly an awesome training system, but…. that's only a small part of What Portal Feeder really is …

Is it a group of software packages? Again, the answer is yes and no. While we have the best software packages available to us they are just a small part of the Protal Feeder equation. Among the software programs at our finger tips are:

  1. the PortalFeeder core software
  2. Orwell Pro (content tool)
  3. Blog Kahuna for managing our blogs,
  4. the blog feeder system of over 500 blogs that we use to promote web sites,
  5. the one-way linking system,
  6. the article feeder system,
  7. the huge content database …..

Yes, Portal Feeder has tremendous software programs — but that's not all. It's just the beginning.

Is it a marketing forum? I must admit the forum is my favorite part of the entire PF system with the best private "members only" forum I've ever experienced. Gurus and Seo experts mingle freely with beginners, guru wannabe's and intermediate Internet marketers. It is absolutely fantastic how much information is exchanged. And, remarkably, no question is treated as unimportant. But, while we have such a fabulous marketing tool, the forum is just a small part of the overall program.

Wow! You've just got to be overwhelmed by now. Portal Feeder offers us so much.

So …. what is Portal Feeder? One of the mentors in the forum put it this way, "PortalFeeder is a production line to build businesses!" I guess that comes closer to defining it than any other I have heard. But, even that seems inadequate as you will quickly observe once you have the Portal Feeder experience.

Are you ready to investigate further? PortalFeeder 2.0 opens it doors only a few times a year and the membership is closed to new members until … who knows when? The only way you can get in is through links from alumni, or a special invitation.

The doors are opening again in early December for a few days.
The spots will fill up fast (they always do!) so make sure you get on the waiting list early.

What's a Web Portal and Why Should I Care?

For the most part when one thinks of a web portal one thnks of Yahoo or AOL or MSN — huge web portals that offer a variety of services to their customers.  When we use the phrase "portal feeder" some think of the term as meaning a way of providing content to these huge web portals.  However, any website can be a portal and must have a way of growing, hence the need for a program like Portal Feeder.

When you take the time to develop a website with a home page, content, email and, perhaps products for sale, you have built a web portal.  However, the site exists as a static, stale site unless you are actively adding content on a regular basis.  If you really want to grow a website you must have a way to continually update it and to promote it. You can do it the old fashioned way — painstakingly by hand.  To keep up one site with content you will spend hours at your computer researhcing and writing content.  Then you'll spend more hours promoting the site.  Additionally you will need to purchase many tools to assist you.

Or, you can join a membership program like Portal Feeder.

Portal Feeder started almost 2 years ago and has grown into a huge "grow your own network of websites" membership site that many discerning webmasters have discovered.  It is not for everyone and it is hard to get in because the membership is limited.  If you're one of the lucky ones to find yourself in this elite group you will have at your fingertips a huge array of tools to help you develop a tremendous web portal.  They're opening up the doors again in a few weeks so if you want to know what its all about get on the list.  They have an absolute satisfaction guarantee if you get in and decide its not for you so you really have othing to lose.  Get on the announcement list and they will let you know when the doors are opening.  It's only a few weeks away.

Getting Backlinks With Portal Feeder Blogs

Backlinks - money in the bank

How would you like to have 100's of free, organic backlinks to your website - the kind Google, Yahoo and MSN love?!  Well, you can with the blogging technology found in the Portal Feeder Membership.  They have over 500 blogs with a huge variety of topics so you can be sure you'll have something relative to post about.

So what's the big deal about backlinks, you ask.  Back links are links that point to your website from other sites – links that get you traffic from search engine spiders and ultimately get you a higher position in search engine directories such as Google, Yahoo, MSN and other search engines.  You can get back links using various methods including buying links, link exchanges, directory submissions, article writing and submission, etc.  The best back links, however, are those that do not reqiure a reciprocal link.  Search engines such as Google give these kinds of links more weight.  When you post in the Portal Feeder blogging system you can get 100's of backlinks over a period of time.  And, since you are the one posting to the blog you can make sure your anchor texts are the keywords and phrases specific to your site.

Now, here's a secret that hardly anyone knows.  Portal Feeder is opening its doors again real soon and you have a rare opportunity to get in.  I belong to the Portal Feeder membership site and, although it is a bit pricey, it is the best membership site I've ever joined.  I say it's a bit pricey, but, with all the tools that Portal Feeder supplies you will be able to increase your income like most of us have done.  One man who joined a few months ago when they opened the doors for a brief 72 hours,  posted this on the forum today:  " I set a target  ….  that I wanted to pay for my PF membership. Well the news is in I made it with $43.23 left over, woohoo!"  His membership is now "free" and he will continue to grow his income using the blog system.  Others have a similar story and some have even more amazing results.  My own income since joining Portal Feeder have escalated dramatically.   Amazing!

Here's the link if you want to get on the Portal Feeder waiting list.  They give you a 30 day guarantee period so it's safe to get in and look around.  If it's not for you — no harm done.  But, if you're like me you'll be a "portal feeder lifer".
